Dog Walking, Grooming and Sitting
    My Experience
I remember at the age of 5, I set up a makeshift agility course for my Grandmother’s Yorkshire Terrier, in the hallway of her house. At the age of 12, I taught my Grandmother’s young rescue Jack Russell Terrier basic obedience in our front room.

I have worked, in both paid and unpaid capacities, in a number of different establishments, which cater for dogs since the beginning of 1998. They have been local boarding and re-homing kennels including Battersea Dogs Home where I have taken part in Tellington Touch courses or T-Touch, this is a natural way to calm and relax dogs, Clicker Training and General Behaviour Training. My final role before leaving Battersea Dogs Home was as a Temperament Assessor to ensure that dogs were suitable for re-homing.

Whilst at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Guide Dogs for the Blind I was trained in administering medication and assessing dog’s well being in Post Operative Care.

During my time in Boarding Kennels I have been asked to work in the office taking bookings for boarding dogs and cats. Whilst the Kennel Owners were on holiday I was left in charge.
